Background:
The Mogiana growing region is split between the states of São Paulo and Minas Gerais, Brazil. The Mogiana region is the most famous of the three main Brazilian growing regions. This region is the most renowned of the three major Brazilian growing regions.
Taste notes:
The aroma is quite nutty, yet sweet. Full bodied, low acidity, thick, creamy and slightly sweet. Darker roasts taste very sweet and fruity at first. Then turns chocolaty and slightly nutty in flavour. Fuller bodied and lower acidity, a particularly good versatile bean. Nutty and chocolaty. Can be used as a single origin drink or as an amazing blend base. Very neutral tasting and adopts flavours blended into it easily.
Roasting notes:
We roast Brazil Mogiana at a medium level. Mogiana is great for blending and delicious to drink as a single origin. A medium roast is preferred and delivers a milder sweeter cup. Has hints of soft fruit notes at the light/medium roast points and a bit sweeter edge to it.
